Book Celebration for Darwish: Poems

A panel discussion celebrating the life and works of Mahmoud Darwish, the Palestinian poet whose verses have shaped generations. Ammiel Alcalay, Sinan Antoon, and Hannah Lillith Assadi will explore Darwish's legacy alongside live musical accompaniment by Faraj Aby, creating an evening that moves between spoken word and sound.

Sinan Antoon is an Iraqi-American writer and translator based in New York; Ammiel Alcalay is a poet and scholar of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern literature; Hannah Lillith Assadi is an American novelist; Faraj Aby brings musical texture to the conversation. Together they'll trace how Darwish's work speaks across borders and time.

Expect an intimate gathering in a small cafe space. The event is free to attend—just RSVP to secure your spot. All ages welcome.
