Friendly Stranger Studios presents... BOUCHRA

An animated screening that follows Bouchra, a 35-year-old Moroccan coyote navigating long-distance love with her mother in Casablanca through intimate calls and conversations—a tender, funny look at family bonds across borders. Directors Orian Yani Barki and Meriem Bennani craft a film that's both deeply personal and universally resonant, exploring the secrets and pain that hold us together. All proceeds go to the Ghassan Abu Sittah Children's Fund, which provides medical aid and transportation for critically injured children from Palestine and Lebanon to receive care in Beirut before returning home to continue recovery.
