Speed Sisters

Speed Sisters (2015, dir. Amber Fares) follows the first all-women race-car driving team in the Middle East, highlighting their passion for motorsports as they compete while challenging social expectations and navigating personal and political obstacles. This screening is a Palestine fundraiser hosted by Big Sister Film Club at Ridgewood Commons in Queens. All funds raised go directly to Dahnoun Mutual Aid, a grassroots Palestinian mutual aid organization providing life-sustaining aid to Palestinians inside and outside Gaza.
