Wednesday, October 14 · 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM · Williamsburg

Painter's Open Studio

A dedicated studio session for painters who've already completed the Oil Painting for Beginners class. You'll have the freedom to work on your own paintings while accessing the studio's full kit — oil paints, brushes, easels, palettes, medium, solvent — and get 1-on-1 feedback from the instructor as you work.

Natasha Jahchan, a Lebanese-American designer and structural engineer who founded Atelier Dalal, leads the session. She brings a background in architecture and product design alongside her oil painting practice, and she's known for hands-on instruction that meets each student where they are — whether you're troubleshooting technique, composition, or color mixing, or just want another set of eyes on what you're building.

The studio is small and intimate, designed for real creative work rather than a structured lesson. Bring a project in mind, continue something you've already started, or use the time to experiment and build confidence. Canvas isn't included (though you can bring your own or grab one from the studio for $7–10), but everything else — paper, paint, palettes, easels, storage — is there. The room fills up, so register early if you want a spot.
