Noor Theatre: A SWANA Salon

Noor Theatre, New York's OBIE-winning theater company dedicated to MENA/SWANA artists, brings an evening of original short performances that defy genre. Expect music, poetry, comedy, and more — a curated night showcasing the breadth of talent within the SWANA community.

The salon format means you're getting a sampler: multiple artists across disciplines in one room, each bringing their own sensibility. It's the kind of night where you might hear something that shifts how you think about what theater can be.

Joe's Pub is intimate — a basement room with a bar, low ceilings, the kind of acoustics that make you feel close to the stage even from the back. Doors open at 8 PM, show starts at 8:30. There's a 2-drink or 1-food minimum per person. Tickets are $36 advance (inclusive of fees); walk-ups available at the door if seats remain.
