Warm Greetings from one long day in the desert

Warm Greetings from one long day in the desert Warm Greetings from one long day in the desert is an evening-length multidisciplinary dance and performance duet by Moroccan American artist Nora Alami and Japanese-American artist Kimiko Tanabe and. Through installation, projection, and experimental movement, the performance transforms the theater into a surreal desert landscape, shifting from the terrifyingly solitary to the magically hospitable. Warm Greetings from one long day in the desert blends dance and visual design inviting audiences to reconsider the “Orient” within contemporary American imagination.
