Khartoum Offside (+ Q&A)

A screening of Marwa Zein's *Khartoum Offside*, a film about Sudanese women footballers fighting to launch an internationally recognized team in the years leading up to the Sudanese Revolution. The film premiered in 2019 and captures a moment of resistance and collective ambition — women claiming space on the pitch and in their country's future.

Director Marwa Zein will join virtually at 5:30 PM for a Q&A after the screening. The Sudanese Resistance Front will also be on hand to contextualize the film's world — what's happened in Sudan since 2019, from the revolution to the ongoing war between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the Rapid Support Forces militia, and the imperialist actors backing both sides.
