Armadi Tsayn

Armadi Tsayn, meaning 'Sound of the Roots' in Armenian, is a contemporary folk ensemble from Boston featuring oud player and composer Samuel Sjostedt, bassist Filippo Novi-Goller, and percussionist Alek Surenian. The group pays homage to the rich musical heritage of Western Armenia and the captivating sounds of the Middle East and North Africa, fusing traditional melodies with influences from jazz, rock, and western classical music.
