The Wayfinders [Short] (+ Q&A)

A short film by Peggy Ahwesh exploring the uncanny landscapes of Lebanon, Syria, and occupied Palestine through a 2004 3D flight simulation program. The work meditates on themes of loss, displacement, and the right of return, offering a virtual tour of vanished spaces via simulacra of the now-defunct Jerusalem International Airport. Part of Currents Program 5: The Material Ghost at the 64th New York Film Festival, followed by Q&A with filmmakers.
