Awtaan Youth Choir: 2026–2027 Season Registration

Awtaan Youth Choir is launching a new Arabic music choir for children in New York City, with registration open through late September for the pilot season starting in October. This is a chance for young singers to dive into Arabic musical traditions and join a community-centered ensemble.

Founded by Zahra Alzubaidi, Alia Komsany, and Yasmin Alhassani—three SWANA musicians and educators rooted in New York—Awtaan brings together expertise in vocal training, cultural preservation, and youth mentorship. The team is committed to making Arabic music accessible and joyful for the next generation.

Registration happens at A.R.T./New York Theatres in Midtown Manhattan. The season runs October 2026 through spring 2027, and this is your window to secure a spot for your child or young person in your life.
