Opening Reception: Beyond the Image: A Benefit Exhibition for The Sameer Project ​Join All Street Gallery and Shadowbanned Magazine for the opening reception of Beyond the Image: A Benefit Exhibition for The Sameer Project, an exhibition bringing together artists whose work examines how images of the Middle East and its diasporas are constructed, circulated, and contested. Through painting, sculpture, printmaking, textiles, digital media, artificial intelligence, photography, and installation, the exhibition explores the relationship between memory, archives, technology, colonialism, and representation while raising funds for The Sameer Project, a Palestinian-led mutual aid initiative supporting displaced families in Gaza. ​The evening offers an opportunity to experience the exhibition, meet participating artists, and engage in conversations around art, memory, resistance, and collective liberation. ​Following the reception, continue the celebration at the official After Party at Beverlys (297 Grand St 10002), beginning at 8:00 PM and running late. We will be selling t-shirts and Taim Olive Oil products available for sale to further fundraise for The Sameer Project. ​Throughout the exhibition, participating artists and collaborators will present a series of public programs—including workshops, artist talks, and performances—that expand on the exhibition's themes while offering opportunities to engage more deeply with their practices.
