Haleh Liza Gafori: RUMI

Performance artist, translator, musician, and vocalist Haleh Liza Gafori presents an evening of music and poetry featuring her acclaimed translations of 13th-century mystic Rumi, with songs sung in original Persian. Accompanied by multi-instrumentalist Shahzad Ismaily and additional guests, the performance celebrates Rumi's 819th birthday and marks Gafori's 10-year anniversary of translating his poetry.
