اليـام اليـام (Oh the Days!) at MoMa

A 1978 Moroccan film written and directed by Ahmed El Maanouni. After his father's death, a young man's dreams of a better future in France are challenged by his mother's wish that he become the family's breadwinner in their small Moroccan countryside village. In Arabic and French with English subtitles; 90 minutes. The film is part of MoMA's 'Immigrant Nation: People in Transit' series.
