Cultural Ecologies Series 2026: Unheard-of + Mehrnam Rastegari Trio

Unheard-of Ensemble and the Gowanus Dredgers present a free outdoor waterfront concert featuring Persian musician Mehrnam Rastegari and her trio. Rastegari is a master Kamancheh player, singer, and award-winning composer who brings Persian music into new directions with rock, jazz, and modern fusion. The concert also features a new electroacoustic commission by Matt McBane exploring underwater topographies. The audience can attend from canoe, dockside, or on shore at the Gowanus Canal.
