Cinema Tehran Presents: The Cycle (US Restoration Premiere)

Cinema Tehran presents the U.S. restoration premiere of Dariush Mehrjui's rarely seen masterpiece The Cycle. When a young boy in Tehran tries to save his father's life, he becomes entangled in blood trafficking, exploitation, and corruption in pre-revolutionary Iran. The screening will be preceded by Jan Švankmajer's short film Food (1992, 17 min).
