The Horse of Jenin

Screenings of The Horse of Jenin, a critically acclaimed show combining storytelling, mask, and stand-up comedy by Palestinian actor and comedian Alaa Shehada. The show reflects on his upbringing in Jenin Refugee Camp and centers on a sculpture built from debris that stood for twenty years before being destroyed in 2023. Originally planned as live performances, the work is now being presented as screenings after the performer was denied U.S. entry.
