The Jazz Ghazal Project

Two musical traditions from opposite sides of the world meet head-on in this conversation between jazz and ghazal—mid-20th century forms that share an emotional core despite their geographic distance. The project brings together musicians working in these idioms to explore what happens when improvisation, ornamentation, and deep feeling collide across cultural lines.

Barzakh Cafe hosts the performance in an intimate setting where you can expect to sit close to the sound. Tickets are available through the venue's ticketing system; note that the refund policy does not permit returns.
