School Nite: Isabella Lovestory, B0YG1RL, ali rq

School Nite is MoMA PS1's after-hours music series spotlighting rising digital, internet-based, and underground acts. The 2026 season kicks off with three artists pushing experimental pop and electronic music in different directions — expect live performances across genres, after-hours gallery access to the exhibitions, and a cash bar.

Isabella Lovestory is a Honduras-born experimental-music icon at the intersection of pop and reggaeton. Her 2022 debut *Amor Hardcore* was characterized by *Pitchfork* as "playful, maximalist, and flirtatious to the core," blending experimental reggaeton with Spanish trap and goth electronica. Her 2025 album *Vanity* earned a JUNO nomination for Latin Music Recording of the Year.

B0YG1RL is a Haitian/Honduran duo (composer June Vinette and filmmaker Angela Rio) — an experimental, Black, queer, and trans electronic music and multimedia visual art collective. They serve up Miami bass, baile funk, Haitian konpas, and dembow riddims, with a sound that moves between white-hot synth frenzy and raw, verité production celebrating community, resilience, and Afro-diasporic storytelling.

ali rq is a 21-year-old NYC-born DJ, producer, and artist whose sets span Miami Music Week and prestigious European clubs. She's a core collaborator with rising artist Cece Natalie and opened for PinkPantheress's North American tour.

MoMA PS1's former schoolhouse courtyard is the venue — it's a sprawling, energetic space. Admission is free; the cash bar keeps things casual. Doors open at 7 p.m., music runs until 11.
