Haus of Joon: Fall Season Opening | Persian-Rooted. Global Sound

Persian roots. Global sounds. Haus of Joon launches its indoor fall season on Saturday, October 3 at Somewhere Nowhere in NYC, bringing together electronic music, live performers, and a community connected through culture and the dance floor.

Founded by Iranian-American DJ and producer ARDESHIR, Haus of Joon blends Afro-tech and melodic house with Persian vocals and Middle Eastern, North African, Latin, and Mediterranean influences. It’s a space for familiar sounds, new discoveries, and people from every background.

The opening lineup features ARDESHIR, alongside SHNKR, his collaborator on “Atardecer,” and Atlanta’s MOTEH b2b ARMEEZY.

Bringing two backgrounds together through their Middle Eastern roots, MOTEH and ARMEEZY blend punchy drums, rolling basslines, Afro-tech house, and indie dance with Persian influences and international touches. At the heart of their sound is a shared goal: bringing the music of their homeland to a dance floor where every culture can connect.

Expect live performances and surprises as Haus of Joon opens a new season. Persian flavors will also inspire a special cocktail menu currently in development, featuring a Saffron Margarita, Lavashak Martini, and Pomegranate Sumac Sour.
