Losing It: NYC Premiere and 2026 Benefit

Join Yaa Samar! Dance Theatre for the NYC premiere of Losing It on October 13 & 14 at 7pm at 100 Sutton Pl in Greenpoint, Brooklyn! Performed live by YSDT Artistic Director Samar Haddad King and lead performer Samaa Wakim, Losing It looks at the psychological effects of growing up under occupation through movement and sound. Each evening will start with the performance at 7pm, followed by a conversation with the artists. On October 13th there will be a reception featuring dinner and drinks, and on the 14th there will be a community dance party! All proceeds will support YSDT's $40,000 fall 2026 campaign goal, which funds a new world premiere and three works across three continents.
