Led by Grammy-nominated artist Samir LanGus, this immersive evening bridges the spiritual depth and hypnotic, cyclical grooves of Moroccan Gnawa with the improvisational freedom of contemporary jazz. Rooted in the soundscapes and lineage of Agadir, the music centers Guimbri bass lines, layered percussion, and call-and-response vocals—offering Gnawa not as spectacle, but as a living, trance-inducing practice designed to be felt collectively in real time. Barzakh Café also offers a curated selection of small plates and drinks.
