Tatreez + The Art of Resistance Workshop with Sabri Sundos

​Led by Palestinian-American artist Sabri Sundos, this beginner-friendly workshop introduces participants to the centuries-old Palestinian embroidery tradition of Tatreez while exploring its history as a form of cultural preservation and resistance. Participants will receive Aida cloth, tapestry needles, thread, and motif guides while learning foundational stitching techniques and the significance of Tatreez as a living archive of Palestinian identity. Through the lens of storytelling and resistance, participants will leave with both a new skill and a deeper understanding of the enduring struggle for liberation. ​$15 of each ticket will be donated to the Sameer Project
