Cultural Ecologies Series 2026: Unheard-of + Mehrnam Rastegari Trio

Unheard-of Ensemble presents an electroacoustic commission by Matt McBane exploring underwater topographies, paired with a performance by Mehrnam Rastegari Trio. Rastegari is a master Kamancheh player and award-winning composer bringing Persian music in new directions with inflections of rock, jazz, and modern fusion. The performance takes place on a floating dock on the Gowanus Canal, with audience access by canoe, dock seating, or accessible shore locations.
