ANA Contemporary Arab Cinema

ANA Contemporary Arab Cinema, now in its 14th year, is a curated showcase of 12 outstanding films by Arab filmmakers from Lebanon, Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, and beyond, presented this summer at BAM in Brooklyn from July 15-23 and at the Jacob Burns Film Center in Westchester from July 22-28. With in-person filmmaker appearances, virtual Q&As, and the warm community that naturally forms around the screenings and post-film drinks. The series offers New Yorkers curious about films from the Arab world, a rare and exciting chance to come together around this year's most compelling, conversation-sparking Arab films.
