KHANEVADE: Portraits of Iranian Americans – In-Person Screening at MoMI

KHANEVADE: Portraits of Iranian Americans examines the everyday stories of Iranians who rebuilt their lives in the U.S. The program includes multiple documentary works including Maryam Kashani's "Best in the West," Armon Mahdavi's "Untitled, Jackson Heights," and others exploring Iranian-American community and identity. The in-person screening will be followed by a discussion with filmmaker Armon Mahdavi, moderated by curator Nick Kouhi. Co-presented by ArteEast and Museum of the Moving Image.
