Bouchra

Feature debut from visual artists Meriem Bennani and Orian Barki follows Bouchra, a queer Moroccan jackal living in NYC wrestling with writer's block while having difficult phone calls with her mother in Casablanca. Balancing the precarity of working as an artist, the rift between her two homes, and various relationships, Bouchra's emotional reckoning becomes her path to expression.
