The Jazz Ghazal Project

The Jazz Ghazal Project brings together mid-20th century jazz standards and Urdu ghazals from India and Pakistan in a musical dialogue exploring shared themes of love, loss, and longing. Vocalist Kaushik and pianist Sharik Hasan perform original arrangements pairing the Great American Songbook with poetic ghazals interpreted by legends like Mehdi Hasan and Begum Akhtar.
