Offside (dir. Jafar Panahi) - Lincoln Center Summer for the City Screening

A screening of Jafar Panahi's sharp social comedy Offside (2006), in which young Iranian women try to sneak into Tehran's Azadi Stadium to watch a World Cup qualifier between Iran and Bahrain, challenging gender segregation in Iran. In Persian with English subtitles, presented in collaboration with Film at Lincoln Center as part of the Summer for the City program.
