Layale Chaker | Kinan Azmeh, Kyle Sanna & friends

Lebanese violinist-composer Layale Chaker presents Ahl al Thara, a new work-in-progress drawing from melodies passed down through her South Lebanon and Galilee heritage, blending jazz, Arabic maqam, and contemporary classical textures. The second set features Syrian-born Brooklyn-based clarinetist and composer Kinan Azmeh (described as "intensely soulful" by the NY Times) with guitarist Kyle Sanna and guests.
