Group Maqam Singing Classes: Arabic Music for All - July 14th

Maqam singing class focused on Maqam Huzam, led by Palestinian-American master musician Sami Abu Shumays, co-author of "Inside Arabic Music." This stand-alone class uses group call-and-response singing to explore the microtonal scale system of Arabic music. Drop-ins welcome; suitable for all skill levels.
