Sounds of the levant with Layan Hawila

An intimate oud night featuring Palestinian musician Layan Hawila, born and raised in Haifa, who performs Levantine music through voice and oud. A Berklee College of Music student studying under Simon Shaheen, Layan is the first oud principal at Berklee to major in Music Therapy. The evening offers a listening experience rooted in Levantine musical heritage at Barzakh Café.
