An Ode To You: A Literary Reading with New York-based Sudanese Writers

An afternoon of readings with four New York-based Sudanese writers: Daad Sharfi (poet, NYU Law student), Dalia Elhassan (Sudanese-American poet and author of "In Half Light"), Mayada Ibrahim (literary translator working between Arabic and English, MacDowell fellow), and Mohammed Zenia (Sudanese/Eritrean poet). The event coincides with the survey exhibition of Sudanese printmaker Mohammed Omer Khalil (b.1936) at the same venue.
