Sertab Erener
Sunday, December 20 · 6:00 PM · East Village
Turkish pop legend Sertab Erener brings her powerful voice and genre-blending hits to a small room in the East Village. A native of Istanbul, Erener studied opera before launching her career working with Turkish music icon Sezen Aksu — and she's best known internationally for winning the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 with her hit "Every Way That I Can."
Over a career spanning decades, she's released multiple Turkish-language albums and ventured into English-language work, including renditions of Bob Dylan's "One More Cup of Coffee" that landed on the Masked and Anonymous soundtrack. Expect a set that draws from her full catalog — the pop hits that made her a household name in Europe, the deeper cuts, and the genre-blending work that's defined her sound.
It's a 21+ venue with a $20 table minimum per person. General admission is $100 in advance or $150 at the door; VIP tickets are $150. Tickets are non-refundable. The room has a full bar and the kind of intimate setup where you can feel the presence of a seasoned performer.
