Still Playing + L'Mina (+ Q&A)

A special program featuring two films: Mohamed Mesbah's Still Playing (37 mins) follows a video game creator named Rasheed raising two boys in the West Bank during summer 2024 as war rages in Gaza, while creating games reflecting that reality. Randa Maroufi's L'Mina (26 mins) documents the mining history and subterranean labor of Jerada, Morocco. Director Mohamed Mesbah will be in person for Q&A.
