WARAK: Film, Food, & Fundraiser

we are thrilled to announce the upcoming premiere of our short, WARAK! a kaleidoscope film set in three Arab diaspora kitchens, tracing intergenerational stories while rolling a familiar favorite dish: stuffed grape leaves 🍃🍴 join us for an evening of film, food, and community at Sunview Luncheonette on May 28th @ 7pm. $15-$20 suggested donation that includes the screening + food, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. venmo @ hana-elias with “warak” in the caption to RSVP & secure your spot. all proceeds will go toward small farms and agriculture collectives in Palestine ahead of wheat harvest season 🌾 we’ll be serving a variety of home-cooked bites - including dolma, of course!! (the event is BYOB).
